Senter for integritet i forsvarssektoren (the Centre for Integrity in the Defence Sector) (CIDS) in Norway works as a consulting body as part of Forsvarsdepartementet (the Ministry of Defence). CIDS' work includes strengthening good governance and integrity, and providing advice in key areas to reduce the risk of corruption or other unethical behaviour. The primary areas of relevance to ensuring continuous improved governance are:

— professionalism and integrity in the public administration,

— personnel management,

— conflict of interest/impartiality,

— free access to Public information,

— public procurements.

CIDS will execute the contract with a supplier on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. The Ministry of Defence will be the contracting party.
