The subject of the advertised contract is the delivery and transport of electrical energy to the acceptance points named by the client according to the actual need and their measurement (full power supply) and thus free of charge.

The Rhein-Erft-Kreis tenders for its consumption points in its own name and for its own account and as a representative for the city of Frechen in its name and for its account the electricity requirement for the delivery period 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2027, whereby the delivery year 2027 is an optional delivery year. Each of the calendar years represents a delivery year.

An electricity requirement of around 11 GWh for each of the delivery years is put out to tender. The future supplier is responsible for all necessary partial services and has to bear all costs for them. This includes, in particular, the regulation of grid use and metering point operation.

Only electricity from renewable energy plants will be supplied in accordance with the requirements set out in the annex to the invitation to tender.
