Purpose of pest control contract.

Eliminate any existing infestation of rats and mice.

To provide a reporting system, this will outline all work inspections and recommendations concerning rats/mice infestation.

To satisfy the Minister of Defence that all reasonable pro-active measures are taken to deal with infestation and that they conform to Health Board Regulations.

To follow up with visits (at no cost to the Dept of Defence) where infestation is found until infestation is eliminated.

To provide each Barrack accountant with a pest control log outlining bait points, type of poison used, dates of inspection, checks for insects, material safety data sheets shall be made available for all rodenticides used and it will be necessary to restrict their use in certain areas. No new rodenticides are to be introduced or used without prior approval by Barrack Service Section, Dublin.
