The contracting authority wishes to establish a framework agreement for the provision of Cooked Meats, Cheese and Misc.Chilled Food supplies. The framework focuses upon the said supplies across a framework with up to a maximum of 3 operators. The framework agreement is being established to meet the need for said services of organisations across the entire public sector. The framework is let on behalf of Newton Westpark Primary School but will also be open for use by all other public sector authorities throughout the UK (and any future successors to these organisations). These include but are not limited to central government departments and agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies, NHS Bodies, Local Authorities, Police Authorities, Emergency Services, Educational Establishments, Hospices, National Parks and Registered Social Landlords. This framework agreement will meet the Cooked Meats, Cheese and Misc.Chilled Food needs across the entire public sector covering a broad range of items. The Contracting Authority will seek to select a preferred supplier who scores the highest combined quality and price score. The Contracting Authority will also seek a 2nd and 3rd placed supplier who scores the 2nd and 3rd highest combined price and quality score. The preferred supplier will be awarded all business under the framework unless they are unable to meet the framework user's preferred requirements. In these instances such business will be offered to the 2nd placed supplier to fulfil. Should they be unable to meet the framework user's requirements the business will be offered to the 3rd placed supplier.
