Description:
Planning, construction and operation of a gigabit network in the white NGA spots of the market town Untergriesbach according to federal funding program broadband broadband

The construction and operation of a gigabit broadband network will be tendered on the basis of the Directive “Support for broadband deployment in the Federal Republic of Germany” in the expansion areas referred to in point II.1.1). The nature and exact scope of the contract, defined minimum ranges, the specific funding base (white NGA stains) shall be determined on the basis of this notice in accordance with point II.2.ff).

Planning, construction and operation of a gigabit network in the market town of Untergriesbach with the expansion areas: North

The licensee builds and operates the required passive grid infrastructure (civil engineering services, conduits with cables and associated components including shafts, distributors and connection equipment) to supply the expansion area. The concessionee continues to provide professional planning and operational provision of further components and active technology to develop all technically expandable distributors or equivalent gigabit components in the expansion area which are newly built as part of the measure.

The funding must be used efficiently in such a way that networks that are as convergent as possible are created. When planning the network, the requirements for the mobile gigabit society should also be taken into account. The networks should also be networked and used with other infrastructures suitable for telecommunications or other supply purposes (e.g. measures for networked mobility or the connection of cell phone masts). Funding is excluded if a gigabit-capable network already exists and only the subscriber connection is still missing (homes passed) (requirement in accordance with Section 5.1 of the Federal Ministry of the Interior Ordinance).

In order to guarantee the operation of an adequately powerful gigabit network in the long term, the bidder should present a technical concept in the offer, from which comprehensible and plausible information on reliability and high quality (e.g. durability, upgrade capability and also the number of connections) ) of technical solutions (gigabit network capability). The gigabit broadband supply should be permanently and expandable available to residents and traders. This concerns the future flexible expansion and further development as required (e.g. development of construction and commercial areas), technology (e.g. substitution of copper by fiber optic lines) and transmission speed (e.g. scalable bandwidths for backbone connection and Distribution network).

The bidder must explain that if additional customers are connected, there can be no reduction in bandwidth or loss of quality.

In the broadband expansion contract to be concluded by the concessionaire with the client, the concessionaire undertakes to operate the supported gigabit network in the expansion area for a minimum operating period of at least 7 years.

White NGA spots

The expansion area is white NGA spots, in the case of the RL BMVI, which the concessioner is to expand with a gigabit network. Bandwidths of one gigabit/s in download and 200 Mbit/s in upload must be reliably guaranteed for all participants (buildings, since federal funding in accordance with footnote 4 of the RL BMVI) is to be reliably guaranteed in the expansion area for all participants (according to footnote 5 of the RL BMVI) in the expansion area are active.
