Refurbishment of the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Chemistry Building at the University of Manchester
The contract comprises an extensive refurbishment of the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Chemistry Building. The works include the creation of new generic flexible laboratory spaces including new fume cupboards and fixed benching. Each lab area contains a dedicated write-up space with glazed screens for visibility throughout the lab. Works also include the extension of existing extract ducts to service the floor and with other associated services for the laboratory.
The contractor was appointed using the Crown Commercial Services RM6088 Construction Works and Associated Services framework.
The contract value includes £214,541 of works procured under a PCSA using the same framework.
