EASME is launching this call for tenders with a view to concluding seven service contracts for further development and maintenance of the European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet). The objective of this call is to conclude seven service contracts to further develop an operational service where marine data is made interoperable and freely available and to further develop data products based on observations of the sea, providing free and open access to these data products and to the observations on which these data products were built. This call for tenders has seven lots:
Lot 1: Bathymetry,
Lot 2: Biology,
Lot 3: Chemistry,
Lot 4: Geology,
Lot 5: Human activities,
Lot 6: Physics,
Lot 7: Seabed Habitats.
This call for tenders is covered by the 2019 work programme (action 1.3.1.9) and 2020 work programme (action 3.1.11) for the Implementation of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund. The tasks to be carried out by the contractor are further detailed in the tender specifications in section 1.
The specific objective of this lot is to contribute to the operational service by maintaining and enhancing services for the parameters under the responsibility of the following thematic lot: Lot 4 — Physics.
