The subject of this invitation to tender is the provision of postal services to the contracting authority. The Contractor undertakes vis-à-vis the Client to collect, frank, transport and deliver letter mail from the Client.

The conclusion of the framework agreement is intended to ensure fast, reliable and economical mail transfer by the Contractor.
Since our consignments are often contribution notices, timely delivery is of particular importance. Our contributions are due on the 15th day of the month following the month in which the contribution notice was notified to the payer. Compliance with the delivery deadlines is therefore absolutely necessary, especially for the large notification letter at the end of April.
For this purpose, the outgoing mail must be collected from the collection location specified in point 3.2, franked, sent in the most economical way and delivered to the respective addressee. The volume is shown in point 3.3 of this service description. The quantities are based on the average shipment volumes of previous years. This does not give rise to an entitlement to a binding order volume. AN undertakes to provide the services subject to the award at the offered price even if the quantities shown are exceeded or undercut.
Pick-up for the respective promotions (see section 3.3.1.) will be carried out after consultation with the print service provider in accordance with the deadlines agreed in the schedule. A separate written order by the Client for the performance of the individual services listed in the service description is not required.
The actions are interdependent and build on each other (contribution notice, reminder, enforcement). This is another reason why it is important to meet the deadlines.
Short-term deviations from the 2023 annual schedule (UB 2023 schedule) for the print service provider cited as an example are possible on the BGW side due to:
• Move an action
• Elimination of a small action without replacement
• additional performance of an action and/or
• Changes to the content, number and structure of existing actions.
Postponement and cancellation of actions specified in the schedule are possible free of charge on the part of the Client if the Contractor is informed of this by 3 p.m. at the latest one working day before the agreed provision of the data to the print service provider.
