ViP Verkehrsbetrieb Potsdam GmbH currently consists of 43 tram trains of the types KT4D/ Combino/Variobahn (9 KT4D double trains, 16 Combino and 18 variobahnen) and 63 buses (17 standard buses, 46 articulated buses) and one passenger ferry.

ViP Verkehrsbetrieb Potsdam GmbH plans to re-award vehicle interior cleaning services from the 2nd quarter of 2023.

An average of 81 vehicles have to be cleaned daily (35 tram trains, of which 27 trams as 5-car and 8 trams as 7-car and 46 buses, of which 11 standard and 35 articulated buses)). The cleaning is carried out according to the customer's specifications in 5 cleaning stages. The interior cleaning of the trams usually takes place in the parking hall TRAM, that of the buses under the carport at the depot of the client. The minimum number of vehicles to be cleaned daily depends on the daily vehicle use and is specified by ViP in the form of digital entry and exit lists via tablets provided.

The award of the contract is subject to an overall financing reservation and the reservation of the approval of the responsible decision-making bodies (e.g. shareholders). In other words, the client reserves the right to cancel the award procedure in whole or in part if the financing is not conclusively secured, the overall budget has been exceeded or the responsible decision-making bodies do not agree to the award of the contract. The client also reserves the right to make changes and adjustments to the project.
