The object of the awarded service is the operation and maintenance of the street lighting of the city of Bad Urach.

The city of Bad Urach with its districts of Hengen, Seeburg, Sirchingen and Wittlingen owns approx. 2,400 lighting points and approx. 25 control cabinets as well as the associated street lighting network. An operator is being sought for these street lighting systems, who will take over the operation and maintenance, the ownership of the systems remains with the city.

The following services are included:

- Operation of street lighting systems (network, light points, control cabinets)

- Fault management including 24-hour on-call service and fault and damage rectification (please refer to the tender documents for response times)

- Maintenance of street lighting systems (network, light points, control cabinets) including inspection, maintenance and repair work

- Information obligations on malfunctions, maintenance work

- Advising the client on changes / renewals, etc. of the systems

- Documentation (data maintenance in GIS system and database of beacon registers, site plans, switching point registers, circuit diagrams, network registers, network diagrams, etc.) and plan information

The scope of the tendered services does not include, but is not limited to, electricity supplies, LED conversions, new construction, renewals/modifications (outside the work covered by maintenance) of street lighting systems.
