The Toulouse Space Center realizes and implements computer systems to operate and control satellites and scientific and technological experiments. It must also maintain the usability of the despatialized databases for which it is responsible.
To ensure the reliability and durability of these IT systems, in development and operation, it is necessary to manage their configurations rigorously.
To this end, the Digital Quality Assurance, Operations and Operations Department of the Toulouse Center has a Software Configuration Management (CMS) Support Unit. The role of this unit is to provide methodological support (requirements and management provisions), organizational support (technical assistance in the definition of environments) and operational support (exploitation of gcl software configuration management, in particular archiving and generation).
1. Production, archiving/retrieval and generation activities,
2. Maintenance in Operational Conditions (MCO) and Maintenance in Safety Condition (MCS) of tools, procedures and documentation
3. Organization, management, quality of the service as well as the production of indicators used to control and manage the activity.
