University of Tampere is carrying out a joint procurement to purchase a Current Research Information System (CRIS) as a SaaS (software as a service) solution. The customer is carrying out this procurement to acquire a single CRIS system, aiming to harmonize the registration, validation, reporting and presentation of research output and other research information.

The customer is carrying out this procurement to acquire a single CRIS system, aiming to harmonize the registration, validation, reporting and presentation of research output and other research information. A shared CRIS system enhances the visibility of research activities, promotes open access and also contributes to internal and external customer relationships and partnerships of the community by presenting its experts, units and infrastructure. The system will be a single instance shared by the Contracting Authority and all Participating Organizations. Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) is included as an option and will make a separate decision on the possible acquisition later.
