The aim of the tender is to conclude a framework agreement with a maximum term of 4 years for the maintenance of green spaces at the Jena Beutenberg Science Campus (hereinafter referred to as the Beutenberg Campus).

The maintenance of green spaces serves to preserve the park-like structures, which have been laid out with great effort, as well as the legally required traffic safety on the grounds of the Beutenberg Campus.

An important basis for the maintenance of green spaces is the "Guideline for the insect-friendly management of urban green spaces" of the city of Jena from July 2020. With this in mind, most of the areas on the Beutenberg Campus are to be maintained or treated in the coming years.
