The Port of Brussels is launching a call for projects relating to the concession of services for the operation of the multimodal container terminal, located in the outer port, on the right bank, along the canal, with rail and road access. A site map is given in the annex to this document. The operator must guarantee the open nature of the terminal; that is, it must be accessible to the various operators and charterers of the waterways wishing to make use of it (without operational or commercial prejudice).

The call for projects also covers the land adjacent to the container terminal in order to develop a value-added logistics offer directly linked to the container terminal (container services such as empty container depot, fumigation, etc.; and merchandise services such as stripping and stuffing, stock management, urban distribution, etc.) This logistics offer may be offered by the terminal operator or by a 2nd operator who will work in partnership with the terminal operator.
