RheinEnergie AG intends to build a new solar thermal plant in Cologne-Merheim with approx. 7 - 10 MW thermal peak power for district heating production (flow temperature > 95 °C).
RheinEnergie AG intends to plan, construct and maintain a new solar thermal system in Cologne-Merheim with approx. 7 - 10 MW thermal peak power for district heating production (flow temperature > 95 °C).
The solar thermal system consists of the following sub-areas:
- Solar system consisting of flat or tube collectors
- Complete piping in the solar field
- Zaunanlage
- Interconnection line from the solar field to the power plant site with a distance of approx. 800 m
- Technical center with heat exchanger, pressure maintenance, etc. including the associated housing
- Tagesspeicher
The contractor shall also provide engineering services for the integration of the solar heat into the existing district heating system. An automated feeding of the heat into the district heating system in interaction with the other generation plants (CHP, hot water boiler and district heating storage) must be possible.
