Tannuwald power plants, rehabilitation, lots of ET transformers
The existing Tannuwald hydropower plant was put into operation in 1981 with an installed capacity of 5,194 kW. The power plant is located at 1 391 m above sea level. M. in the canton of Valais (Switzerland). In the reservoir Fah (41 000 m 3 , 1 758 m above sea level. M), which is located about 2 790 m upstream of the power plant, the water is taken. In the pressure line, the water flows to the power plant and is turbinated into seven small pump machine groups. As part of the rehabilitation of the Tannuwald power plant, the seven units will be replaced by two identical vertical Pelton groups and the machine transformer will be replaced by a new unit with increased capacity (10 MVA, 16 / 6.3 kV). At the same time, the transformer in the substation Serra will be replaced (10 MVA, 220/16 kV).
