This procurement procedure concerns a three-year project aimed at identifying the key trends in the Nordic labour market and analysing the opportunities and challenges they face. The project must provide a professional platform and generate new knowledge and specific recommendations, on the basis of which Nordic politicians, official agencies, unions and employers can discuss strategies and measures.

The tender is conducted as a public tender according to the rules of the Public Procurement Act (Act. no. 1564 of 15/12/2015), see the contract notice no. 1572/S 30.11.2016.

The Nordic Council of Ministers are issuing a call for funding applications for a three-year project to provide possible answers to the question of how the Nordic model will be affected by the working life of the future. 4.1. Project content:

The project must:

· Identify and map the most important drivers and trends in the Nordic working life of the future.

· Analyse the main consequences, challenges and opportunities of these drivers and trends, and how they are likely to affect important policy areas in relation to the labour market, employment, occupational health, industrial relations and labour law in the Nordic Region.

· Use the analyses generated by the project as a professional platform for exchanging, discussing and analysing points of view on strategies and measures with which to face the opportunities and challenges for Nordic politicians, other international stakeholders, official agencies, employers and unions.

Topical areas and themes that can potentially be covered by the project:

· What are the primary drivers, trends and changes in the Nordic working life of the future? What are the most important problems, advantages and disadvantages in the employment, occupational health and labour law perspectives, and how are these affected by factors such as gender, age and national background?

· What plans, strategies and actions should be developed nationally and by the various stakeholders?

· Are any plans, strategies or initiatives in place to address current challenges? What are the different stakeholders' attitudes and positions on these trends and challenges? Appendix 1 contains a more detailed description of the project, including a longer and more itemised list of current topics and areas that the project also may touch on.
