The surveying department is soliciting bids for boundary markers for the 2022 to 2023 need.

The Bureau of Surveying requests to provide numbered metallic boundary markers for the period from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023. The standard boundary markers must meet the requirements of the Finnish Standardization Federation SFS 4940 and the tenderer must have a valid certificate for these models. Eurofins Expert Services Ltd monitors the quality of products certified and the certificate requires a quality control agreement (see Annex Eurofins Expert Services Oy 15.7.2021). The surveying department also observes quality for its part. Rock topples not included in the standard should also be durable to compliance with the standard, as well as withstand normal installation without breaking.

Estimated procurement volumes per model for the period from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2023 have been reported in the RFQ. Estimated quantities per model may be exceeded or undercut by an estimated maximum of 25%. The surveying institution does not commit to the quantities of procurement.

Our border brand orders are mainly scheduled for the beginning of the calendar year between February and May. In addition to this, replenishment orders will be made during June-December. Approximately 100 to 120 orders are placed each year. The supplier must prepare for deliveries so that approximately half of the procurement volumes per model for the calendar year are ordered during February-May period.

The acquisition is not divided into sections because the object of the acquisition forms a unified entity that is not appropriate to divide into parts.
