The Institute for the Health and Consumer Protection/Chemical Assessment and Testing Unit carries out research to improve the understanding of potential health risks posed by chemicals, contaminants released from packaging contact with food materials and consumer products.

In this context we plan to purchase an inductively coupled plasma mass detector to serve the activities on food contact and the activities on characterisation and migration/release from nanomaterials.
