The tender process concerns the handling of passenger transport by bus in the Porvoo hospital area and the wellbeing services county of Eastern Uusimaa. Rides are run on weekdays; in the morning from Espoon Sello to Porvoo Hospital and back in the afternoon. The route and timetable are described in Annex No 1.
One supplier will be selected as the service provider. The contract is valid for a fixed period of 24 months, after which it will continue until further notice.
The maximum number of passengers is 50 people per bus. During the year, the average number of passengers has been about 20 people. As a rule, transports have been driven by one bus, but due to the corona pandemic, two buses have also been used to ensure a sufficient safety distance between passengers. The service includes a bus and a professional driver.
The transport is intended for the personnel of the Porvoo hospital area and hus or its subsidiaries to be agreed upon separately, as well as for employees entitled to commuter transport as defined by the wellbeing services county of Eastern Uusimaa.
When travelling, all passengers must use a travel ticket that the Porvoo Hospital District and the Eastern Uusimaa wellbeing services county deliver to their employees. The ticket must be given to the driver, who delivers the tickets to the subscriber of the service once a month. It is not possible to travel without a ticket.
