The tasks covered by the framework contract mainly consist of individual street works. The total cost of a single contract may not exceed EUR 1 200 000 excluding VAT. The estimated total value below also includes a two (2) year option.

The purpose of this acquisition is a framework agreement for street construction work for the City of Helsinki Urban Construction Services. The selected contractors act as lead contractors for the projects, as defined by the YSE and the legislation.

Procedure for ordering works to be procured:

Orders from framework contract suppliers are primarily based on the ranking order of the framework contract tenders. If, on a priority basis, the primary framework contract supplier is unable to place the order, the order shall be placed on the first priority from the next framework contract supplier. Exception may be made if the Priority Framework Supplier does not have the required expertise, resources to fulfill the order or the Priority Supplier refuses to perform the job offered. In this case, the next framework contract supplier will be selected in order of priority. Details of the work available will be sent to the contractor via email for a quote. The contractor must respond promptly whether he takes over the contract in order to make the contract or not, the declaration is binding. If no reply is received within one (1) business day, the absence of a reply shall be considered as a negative reply.
