It is the intention of the city of Menen to conclude a framework agreement with a supplier for the supply, installation of play and exercise equipment and shock-absorbing surfaces at various locations within the Menen territory for a period of four years.

Many of the current playgrounds no longer meet the current requirements of the legislation, nor the playing experience that the board wishes to create. In addition, there are many in obsolete state, that restoring it is a plaster on a wooden leg.

The board therefore wishes to install new play and exercise equipment at current and future locations.

The city is thinking of playground equipment that is contemporary, sustainable, ecological, adventurous, thematic and maintenance-friendly. They must also comply with all safety legislation. The play and exercise equipment, together with the environment, must create a feel-good feeling, as a result of which (grand) parents, young people and children want to move to the playgrounds.

The whole must be playful, adventurous or rather classic in function of the environment. Adventure playground equipment is in turn linked to surrounding environmental factors.

So that the supplier / contractors know better than anyone else what is suitable for the various squares, take into account the above and the suggestions per location by the board, they therefore work out a proposal themselves.

The board intends to deduct a maximum amount of EUR 600,000.00 including VAT for this during the term of the contract.

Overview of the award procedure:

- Tenderers submit a quotation based on the current specifications and include all necessary attachments,

- Tenderers are invited to present their tender detailing the cases and receive a fee of EUR 250.00 for this.
