The services to be awarded concern the scheduled service of the following lines: RB 74 Kyritz Bürgerpark-Meyenburg, RB 73 Neustadt (Dosse) -Kyritz Bürgerpark. The scope of services is approx. 0.25 million train kilometers per year. The client welcomes CO2 savings in the execution of the order.

The procurement of the public service contract takes place by way of a competitive award procedure according to Art. 5 Para. 3 of Regulation (EC) No. 1370/2007 i. V. m. Section 131 (1) sentence 1 GWB in the form of a negotiation procedure in accordance with Section 119 (5) GWB, Section 17 VgV, but with the special feature that it is not only open to selected companies in a participation competition. With the published announcement, companies are requested to submit initial offers and to provide evidence of the absence of reasons for exclusion and of suitability. The negotiation process is carried out in accordance with the requirements of Section 17 (6) to (14) VgV with the companies that have submitted admissible initial offers for which there are no grounds for exclusion and who can prove suitability. With this process design, the greatest possible competition is to be achieved while at the same time saving time.
