There is a need to hire barracks that will be used as premises for advance voting in this year's parliamentary election and the Sami parliamentary election in 2021. The barracks will be placed in central locations in Oslo. As of November, a decision has been made to place barracks at 24 locations, but the number may change. It is not unlikely that the number will increase to around 30. Each barrack consists of 2-3 barrack modules. Most have three barrack modules. The exact number of barrack modules we want to hire will be clear during spring 2021. The city council secretariat would like to hire complete barracks with a defined content. The service provider will be responsible for setting out, assembling, disassembling and removing the barracks. The barracks must be completely fitted out and ready for use when the advance voting starts on Tuesday 10 August. The advance voting ends on Friday 10 September. We want to hire the barracks from and including 27 July 2021 to and including 15 September 2021. Furthermore, the contracting authority has the option to extend the contract for up to one additional election.

The election committee in Oslo will decide on the locations and opening hours of the advance voting. Out of consideration to the election and confidence in the election, it is very important that all of the advance voting locations are always open during the hours they are supposed to be open.
