Flytoget (the Airport Express) continually works to simplify the customer journey. Baggage handling is one area we would like to simplify. This can be done by allowing travellers to perform several of the tasks awaiting them at the airport while on board Flytoget. Flytoget therefore wants to procure a system to print baggage tags. The system involves placing machines for printing baggage tags on-board Flytoget so that travellers can print out their baggage tags before they arrive at the airport. Devices will be procured for this purpose, with the associated operational contract.
It is planned to procure 72 units distributed over 18 train sets. Operation and maintenance of the units will also be included.
