The contract is for the development of 53 apartment units for social housing comprised of 51 x 3 person 2 bedroom apartments and 2 x 2 person 1 bedroom apartments across 3 separate blocks. The scale of this project is approximately 6 600 000 GBP and the complexity of the project includes site clearance, remediation of contamination, the development of 3 individual apartment buildings with engineering services and external and site development works. The contract will be for approximately 18-24 months from date of award and is scheduled to start by the end of March 2020. It is expected that all units built under this contract will achieve ‘Secured By Design’ and Lifetime Homes accreditation.
