Award of construction services for the replacement of switchgear in the “Triphoenix” project.

The Schwandorf Waste Recycling Association (ZMS) has been operating a waste power plant in Schwandorf since 1982 with a total of four waste boiler lines and a total capacity of about 450,000 mg/a. Due to the increasing frequency of failure caused by the long operating time, the ZMS now intends to completely replace the above-mentioned furnace lines 1 to 3 with New systems. As part of the Triphoenix project, the existing low-voltage electrical switchgear in the furnace line 4, turbine 5, flue gas cleaning 4, NH4OH bearings and SCR 1-3 are now also to be replaced and replaced by new systems.

For the complete replacement of the switchgear, construction work is now being awarded for the project already described. According to more detailed information in the procurement documents, the scope includes:

1. Dismantling the low-voltage electrical switchgear in the area of furnace line 4, turbine 5, flue gas cleaning 4, NH4OH bearings and MKW Schwandorf SCR 1-3, the delivery and assembly of new systems that functionally correspond to existing systems,

2. complete planning including calculation, hazard analysis, design and coding of plants according to the PPS system, scheduling, operational completion including software component parameterization, wrapping work, integration into the overall system as a turnkey plant, commissioning and trial run,

3. preliminary and final documentation,

4. the training of the client's operating staff,

5. coordination and assistance in planning for provisionaries as well as participation in expert examinations,

6. the replacement of the input cables from the NS side of the associated transformers and various cross couplings and establishing a connection to the subordinate rails, and

7. The delivery of additional buttons, executed as empty fields, and individual bays

as part of the overall project “Triphoenix” by the contractor.

Holistic processing includes all services mentioned in the service description, as well as organizational coordination of processing as well as the exchange of information and communication with the project participants mentioned in the service description.

It is pointed out that space is very limited and the project has to be completed while the power plant is in operation.
