Description:
Fire Fighting Equipment, Dry Riser and Hydrant Periodic Servicing

The purpose of this tender exercise is to select a service provider whose delivery of fire fighting equipment, dry riser and hydrant periodic servicing commencing 1.10.2019 will represent value for money, high quality service; combined with the ability to identify and implement service efficiencies across the Trusts.

The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust on behalf of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group (NCA) invites tenders for the servicing of various firefighting equipment across the following NHS Care Organisations:

— The Royal Oldham Hospital,

— North Manchester General Hospital (Plus McCartney House),

— Fairfield General Hospital,

— Rochdale Infirmary (Including Birch Hill),

— Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.

Plus the following off site areas which are within ½ mile from the main Salford Royal site:

— Summerfield House,

— Hope Library,

— Cleveland House,

— Turnpike House.

The contractor shall carry out:

The periodic servicing of each fire extinguisher serving the site and offsite premises in accordance with the appropriate British Standard including BS5306-3:2017, Health Technical Memorandum 05-03, Fire Safety Measures for Public Sector Buildings (HTM 05-03), other relevant codes of practice and the group’s particular requirements.

The periodic servicing of each fire dry risers and hydrants serving the sites shall be in accordance with the appropriate British Standard including BS9999:2008, HTM 05-03, other relevant codes of practice and the group’s particular requirements.
