Building 1.331, consisting of ground floor, 5 upper floors, basement and technical floor/roof, is being completely renovated and will receive new refrigeration systems.A system consisting of two units will be built on the roof, which will provide the cold water for the cooling coils of the ventilation units. These units are operated with the refrigerant R744 (CO2). The gas coolers are positioned directly next to the devices on the roof. In the basement, a system, also consisting of 2 devices, will be installed for the cooling of the electrical and computer rooms. These units are operated with the refrigerant R718 (water). The dry cooler of this system is placed next to the other refrigeration system on the roof. Approximately 1,250 meters of steel pipe will be installed.
