Guldborgsund Spildevand A / S (hereafter "Builder") has initiated a project with the aim of extending the lifetime of 4 treatment plants by 25 years. The project includes renovation of Nykøbing F., Marielyst, Stubbekøbing and Gedser Wastewater treatment plant (including pumping of wastewater from Gedesby Wastewater treatment plant to Gedser Wastewater treatment plant). All of these wastewater treatment plants are run-down and need a boost in relation to current and future challenges with increased water volumes and environmental requirements for overflows and recipients. In addition, the project includes the establishment of a cut-off pressure line from Gedesby to Gedser, the establishment of a pressure line from Gedser Harbor to Gedser Wastewater Treatment Plant, a new pumping station at Gedser harbor, and a new buffer pool for Scandlines (jointly the "Project"). The project is offered in total.
Guldborgsund Spildevand A / S (hereafter "Builder") has initiated a project with the aim of extending the lifetime of 4 treatment plants by 25 years. The project is offered in a total contract and includes the following options:
- Option 1: Establishment of an additional savings pool of 5,000 m3 at Nykøbing Falster Wastewater Treatment Plant,
- Option 2: Delivery and installation of 4 complete rotors to replace existing ones (Marielyst Wastewater Treatment Plant),
- Option 3: Delivery and installation of 4 complete drainage vessels to replace existing ones (Marielyst Wastewater Treatment Plant).
Unfortunately, there is no tradition for assessing renovations of treatment plants in a lifetime perspective. Therefore, many efforts are realized through extensive patchwork and replacements of individual components without seeing things in context. The planning also does not take into account the relationship between the total investment, the optimal depreciation profile and, in particular, the final price for wastewater treatment. With this offering and its preparation, the Client introduces a new model for planning, which is based on a relationship between the total cost of the plant's lifetime and the potentials that can be released with contemporary technical and IT-related installations.
The contract offered (hereinafter "the Contract") includes all works associated with the realization of the Project.
In accordance with section 49 of the Tendering Act, the developer has considered a division of the Contract into sub-contracts. However, it is the opinion of the Contractor that it will provide the best financial framework to allow the Contract's tasks to be performed by one contractor, and this approach eliminates the risk of the inappropriate practical and legal interfaces that result from allowing different actors to work at the same technical facility.
The stated dates for the start and end of the contract are indicative. The final dates will depend in part on the schedule offered.
