Requirements relating to the products and services to be acquired, as well as advanced information on their content, are described in the Annexes to the call for tender.

Product descriptions of uniforms and insignia are set out in Annex 3. Part-bids are not accepted. Alternative bids deviating from the object of the acquisition will not be accepted.

The contract period

The aim is for the agreement to come into force in January 2022. The contract period is five (5) years.

The length of the contract period is five (5) years due to the time of the contract to deploy the contract, product development work and inventory down. The points mentioned take extra time compared to normal order—delivery time.

At the beginning of the contract period, the introduction of the contract, namely the acquisition of materials, product approval testing and production, for which five (5) months are allocated from the beginning of the contract period. Product development work will be carried out during the contract period on the basis of reclamations and feedback, including materials and dimensions, and the availability of these changes will take time from the contract period. In the last six (6) months of the contract period, inventories will be driven down by step-by-step, resulting in deteriorating security of supply.
