Description:
Feasibility Study (MBS) Optimization on-site passage Ballwil, general plan mandate

K16 and Seetalbahn cut through the settlement area of Ballwil. In the north-south direction, rail, road, pedestrians and cyclists are led by conflict in the same traffic area. Immediately south of the station lies the complex roundabout with traffic light control. In the medium term, the unbundling resp. Optimization of the gyroscope in the center of Ballwil for discussion. In addition, the conflicts between the Seetalbahn and K16 are to be reduced in the long term and the separation efficiency reduced. To do so, it is necessary to check the laying of the K16 or the route of the Seetalbahn (laying or laying). To find a solution, a feasibility study MBS is planned.

The MBS is handled in two steps; downstream, the best variant is introduced into the parallel developed ZMB Hochdorf.
