Description:

Supply and Distribution of Various Foods

The Council have a requirement for the supply and distribution of a range of various Foods suitable for use in mainly Care Establishments and Schools. Distribution will be required to approximately 110 sites situated throughout the whole of Cumbria. This contract will be tendered in 5 lots. Companies will be able to tender for one, more than one, or all Lots. The lots will be evaluated individually and each lot will be awarded to one supplier who will supply and distribute countywide.

Fresh Meat, Fresh Sausages and Fresh Poultry

Cumbria County Council has a requirement for the Supply and Distribution of Fresh Meat, Fresh Sausages and Fresh Poultry suitable for use mainly in Care and Educational Establishments. The lot will be awarded to one supplier who will supply and distribute countywide.

Fresh Fruit and Vegetables

Cumbria County Council has a requirement for the Supply and Distribution of Fresh Fruit & Vegetables suitable for use mainly in Care and Educational Establishments. The lot will be awarded to one supplier who will supply and distribute countywide.

Frozen Foods

Cumbria County Council has a requirement for the Supply and Distribution of a range of Frozen Foods suitable for use mainly in Care and Educational Establishments. The lot will be awarded to one supplier who will supply and distribute countywide.

Groceries and Provisions including Soft, Drinks, Fresh Bread and Fresh Sandwich Fillings

Cumbria County Council has a requirement for the Supply and Distribution of a range of Groceries and Provisions including Soft Drinks, Fresh Bread & Morning Goods and Fresh Sandwich Fillings, Salads & Cooked Meats suitable for use mainly in Care and Educational Establishments. The lot will be awarded to one supplier who will supply and distribute countywide.

Fresh Milk

Cumbria County Council has a requirement for the Supply and Distribution of Fresh Pasteurised Liquid Milk for both drinking and/or catering use. The range covers whole, semi-skimmed and skimmed milk. The lot will be awarded to one supplier who will supply and distribute countywide.
