The overall aim of the procurement is to establish a fish barrier in the river Driva in order to stop infected fish wandering further up the river system from Snøvasmelan.

The contracting authority would like, through the contract, to cover the project manager and construction manager roles by joining up with the necessary competence and capacity on the builder side to carry out the project from the start of the detailed engineering design services to the hand over and for the guarantee period.

The project shall be carried out by split builder managed contracts, described in accordance with NS 3420. A competition for the procurement of consultant engineering services will be held parallel to this competition.

The plan is to carry out the project in 2 phases with the first phase winter 2015/16, when the land abutment will be established and phase two winter 2016/17 when the remaining work will be carried out. The technical plan and impact assessment for the project carried out by Sweco Norge are attached to this competition, and they, in total, show the project's extent and complexity.
