The Lung Clinic Grosshansdorf is a centre for pneumology and thoracic surgery and, as a specialist clinic, serves the entire northern German region. Due to its high level of expertise in the treatment of lung and respiratory diseases, the clinic has achieved a worldwide recognized reputation.
The origins of today's highly specialized clinic go back to a "tuberculosis sanatorium", which was founded in 1900 in Großhansdorf by the then "Reich Insurance Institute".Numerous extensions and conversions, the structural conditions in Großhansdorf were no longer sufficient for the growing standards and increasing demands in the fifties of the 20th century. Between 1958 and 1961, a nine-storey, then modern hospital was built on the site on Wöhrendamm, and the old building was demolished. To date, this new building has been extensively renovated several times. The present LV and award concerns the interior doors metal.
The subject of this specification is the interior doors as metal doors as well as windows and partition wall systems made of metal.
