Helen Sähköverkko Oy (later the Client) will build a 110/10 kV substation (abbreviated as Kr) in Kruununhaka, Helsinki. The new substation will replace the old substation in the adjacent building. The commissioning will take place in stages, and the substation and all its equipment are planned to be in use by 12/2025.
This purchase comprises the purchase of two (2) 110/10 kV 31,5 MVA OFWF cooled main transformers with auxiliary equipment and cooling systems for the substation in question, delivered, scraped, installed, tested and put into service in accordance with this contract notice and the subsequent invitation to tender and its annexes.
The procurement procedure shall be negotiated procedure. Tenders will be requested from those suppliers who, on the basis of requests to participate, will be selected as tenderers.
Before submitting a tender, each successful supplier candidate must visit the site on the spot.

Transformers are placed in transformer rooms adjacent to the substation building. Radiators with cooling circuits are installed in the refrigeration equipment room adjacent to the transformer premises. The preliminary plans for the cooling system are attached to the invitation to tender.
The purchase of the transformer also includes 110 kV surge protectors with 8 installation bases installed in place. Connecting surge protectors to 110 kV currents is not included in the purchase of a transformer, but in the delivery of process equipment.
