Rental of voting case systems to support the Munich elections and votes

The content of this lease agreement with components under the contract for work and services is the rental of 1,675 voting case systems as well as the rental option of up to a further 325 voting case systems during the term of the contract. The component of the contract for work and services relates to the support services provided in the context of the conduct of the election. This is divided into the services for the preparation of the use of the voting case systems and the use of the voting case systems to support training purposes, counting the postal vote and counting the ballot box. In addition, the contractor shall, after consultation with the client, carry out integration, installation, consulting and consulting services as requested.

The term of the lease is expected to begin three months after the contract has been awarded. The contract term is four years (48 months) with the option to extend for two additional years (24 more months) (contract extension option).

As things stand at present, it can be assumed that the following elections will be held during the term of the contract:

• Elections to the 10th European Parliament (expected May 2024)

• Bundestag election to the 21st German Bundestag (expected September 2025)

• Local elections (elections to the city council, mayor and district committees in the city districts) (expected March 2026)

• Migration Advisory Council Election (The Migration Advisory Council election is expected to be held together with the local elections.) (expected March 2026)

• OPTIONAL: State and district elections (expected September 2028)

• OPTIONAL: Elections to the 11th European Parliament (expected May 2029)

• OPTIONAL: Bundestag election to the 22nd German Bundestag (expected September 2029)
