Object of this assignment: Deliver and place artistic and innovative Christmas lights on the public domain” in Knokke-Heist during the end of the year period.

This assignment is awarded for 4 end-of-year periods: 2022-2023, 2023-2024, 2024-2025 and 2025-2026.

Knokke-Heist is a unique shopping municipality where it is pleasant to shop in an attractive and well-kept environment.

In order to enhance the end-of-year atmosphere in general and that shopping experience in particular during this period, Knokke-Heist wants to place unique, artistic, innovative and dynamic Christmas lights on the public domain.

This Christmas lights should be built around the overarching theme “Scandinavian winter” that will appear in the street scene in the end of the year period.

The assignment consists of two parts:

Part 1:

In the main shopping streets (trade centre A), unique and artistic Christmas lights are provided with exceptional superlocal appeal, which has to be renewed annually and in line with the Scandinavian winter theme.

Estimate: 175,000 EUR incl VAT per year.

Part 2:

In addition, in a number of other streets and squares outside the trade center A, Christmas lights must be applied that may remain the same during the term of the assignment. In consultation with the relevant services, several installations/lighting can be rotated every year.

This Christmas lights, the basic Christmas lights to create the appropriate Christmas and New Year atmosphere in these streets and squares, should also be elaborated in the Scandinavian winter theme.

Estimate 425,000 eur incl VAT per year

This amounts to an annual budget of 600,000 euro including VAT per year, or 2,400,000 euro including VAT for the entire period of the assignment.
