Network operation: At the request of the client, the contractor takes over network operation at all locations of the client in the actual state after acceptance of the project performance. The following are included in the company:

— LAN infrastructure,

— WiFi infrastructure,

— WAN infrastructure,

— firewalls and DMZ,

— network management systems.

Network operations include logical configuration of LAN, WLAN and WAN, monitoring and maintenance of hardware, and installing and upgrading network components at the client's locations.

The contractor will transfer operations in the transition phase of 6 weeks. The subsequent stabilization phase of 6 weeks is followed by an optimization phase in which improvements or changes are worked out and implemented with the client. The procurement of the network hardware is carried out separately by the client, and stockpiling by the contractor. Execution of RMA processes and managing maintenance contracts are part of the contractor's tasks. After outsourcing network operations, the IT organization of the “Munich Stift” focuses on the sovereign control and consulting services for the specialist departments, employees and residents in the houses as well as the governance function vis-à-vis the selected service provider.
