The foundation works include establishing the area for energy wells for Hafslund Oslo Celsio AS (Celsio)'s planned geoenergy seasonal storage at Furuset in Oslo. The area needs to be excavated, masses need to be removed and the area needs to be carefully planned after the well park has been established. The construction area needs to be prepared at the same time as other projects and with the desired masses etc. and in accordance with the builder's requirements.
The foundation works include establishing the area for energy wells for Hafslund Oslo Celsio AS (Celsio)'s planned geoenergy seasonal storage at Furuset in Oslo. The area is to be excavated to the projected planum as well as a trench for the culvert and main supplies. A drainage layer/support layer is then applied as a basis for setting out and drilling energy wells. It must be filled with river sand for the establishment of pipelines, insulating masses above these and then loose masses and a top layer of growing soil to re-establish the green area to original elevations. Progress and coordination with other actors must be included in stages. The work is carried out within a circular area with a diameter of approximately 72 meters and with a digging volume of approximately 10,000m3. Assumed ground conditions are firm clay with elements of silt and fine sand. The request concerns a turnkey contract (NS-8407). Estimated start of construction is Q1 2023, following internal investment decision.
