Purpose of the study:

— assessment of the state of play or of possible future plans as regards the cross-border exchange of law enforcement information in Member States, in particular in relation to European information exchange model (EIXM) recommendations,

— analysis of reasons for delays/non-compliance, where applicable,

— identification of possible ways for how to improve the level of compliance with European information exchange model (EIXM) recommendations or of possible alternative paths to improve information exchange.
