The two phases of work are:
— Phase 1:
RIBA Stage 3: Developed Design proposals for the landscape and built elements of the site with outline specifications and cost information.
Conservation Management Plan.
Application for detailed planning and listed building consent.
Information and documents for the stage-2 HLF application.
timetable for completion of phase one is 1.3.2018 and the target construction cost including preliminaries and contingency is 1 500 000 GBP.
Phase 2:
Award of Phase 2 is subject to the award of the delivery grant by the HLF and subject to the satisfaction of the Council with the performance of the consultant's services as defined in the Services Schedule of the RIBA Consultant 2010 (2012 Revision) Agreement for Phase 1.
The phase two timetable is 1.8.2018 - 1.9.2021.
It is anticipated that a consultancy team will include the following roles for the project:
— Landscape Architect: Lead consultant to co-ordinate and review the work of consultants and preparation of project work. Act as Employer's Agent for planning and listed building consent applications. Act as Contract Administrator for the building contract, reporting to the Project Manager. Provide designs, specifications, advice and information for the landscape elements of the project.
— Landscape Historian: To produce a Conservation Management Plan for the landscape and built elements of the site.
— Architect: Provide designs, specifications, advice and information for the built elements of the project; proposals for buildings, structures and railings. Provide information on the built elements for their detailed inclusion within the Conservation Management Plan.
