This is a joint European Public Tender of the AMC and the VUMC (hereinafter referred to as Amsterdam UMC). The tender concerns the supply and maintenance of an automated pre- and post-analysis line, including sample storage, linked to an (immuno) chemistry line with also a stand-alone (immuno) chemistry analyzer including consumables and ICT solution for clinical chemical and immunochemical tests. for both location AMC and location VUMC.

The Performance mentioned above must be proven efficient for both locations for the intended purpose as stated in the program of Requirements and Wishes and must process the indicated sample flow without problems, whereby the stated turnaround times are achieved.

AmsterdamUMC wishes to select one provider with which both the AMC and VUMC locations enter into a purchase agreement, which for the AMC location has a duration of ten years and a duration of seven years for the VUMC location, with an optional three-year extension.

This tender concerns a joint tender between the AMC and VUMC for the supply and maintenance of an automated pre-analysis line linked to an automated analysis line for clinical chemical and immunochemical testing, including the consumables for both location AMC and location VUMC. Due to the alliance between VUmc and AMC, the clinical chemistry department has started to jointly purchase laboratory equipment to be replaced with the aim of harmonizing laboratory diagnostics across both locations so that patients can be seen at both locations without differences in laboratory results.

AmsterdamUMC wishes to select one provider with which both the AMC and VUMC locations enter into a purchase agreement. This purchase agreement has a term of ten years for the AMC location, and a seven-year term for the VUMC location with an optional three-year extension.

The equipment hereby becomes the property of the UMC. It is therefore not a rental, lease or loan construction.

Reason for the assignment

At the AMC location, the equipment is outdated and the contract with the current provider will expire at the end of 2021. At the VUMC location, the contract will expire in 2024. Since the desire is to work with the same analysis equipment at both locations due to the uniformity of the results, this Tender issued for both locations, but with possibly a different start date. An option for a 3-year extension for the VUMC location has therefore been included. If this option is selected, the VUMC location will also start at the end of 2021. However, this decision will only be taken after the tender.

Purpose of the assignment

The purpose of the assignment is to select one provider who can provide both the AMC and VUMC locations with the following components:

1.an automated pre- and post analysis street, consisting of:

a) pre-analysis equipment;

b) track;

c) post-analysis equipment, including automatic sample storage;

2.analytical equipment consisting of:

a) an automated (immuno) chemistry analysis line which is connected via a track to the

Pre-analysis street and sample storage. This equipment is delivered including maintenance and

consumables where the set turnaround times and other parts from the

schedule of requirements and wishes are met;

b) a stand alone (immuno) chemistry analyzer for both locations including maintenance and consumables

3. an ICT solution that meets the program of requirements and wishes;
