Reason for the VgV procedure "New Town Hall with Platzgestaltung" is the desire of the community for a newly designed town center with a town hall for the citizens.

The purpose of the procedure is the development of proposed solutions for the rebuilding of the town hall with underground parking as a replacement building at the previous location and the redesign and improvement of the town hall environment, so that this harmoniously fits into the existing open space and structural structure.

The purpose of the procedure is also to find a team of architect and landscape architect in a transparent way, which is to be commissioned with the planning and implementation according to HOAI (§ 34 building design, § 39 open spaces). The organizer is Waldstetten.

The subject of the non-open planning competition is the preliminary planning of the new building of the town hall with police posts and open spaces for the municipality Waldstetten.

The task is described in detail in part B of the claim.

The planning service is awarded as a negotiated procedure in accordance with § 17 VgV with preliminary non-open planning competition according to RPW 2013 with upstream participation competition.

The participants are expected to come up with solutions for the task (statement part B).

The competition area is subdivided into a realization section (0.22 ha) as well as an open space planning section (0.37 ha). The realization part is aimed at awarding architect services for the construction of the town hall according to HOAI §§ 34 and 35 (building construction) and landscape architecture services according to §§ 39 and 40 (outdoor installations) on the building plot at least until the performance phase 5.
