The joint initiative ‘Smart Digital Property Management’ invites suppliers of systems that make building information available and shareable to a planning and design contest. The aim of the planning and design contest is that the market will develop and deliver proposals for systems that fulfil the project's needs and challenges for smart digital property management.
The collaboration partners behind the need and joint statement are: Nittedal eiendom KF, Rælingen Municipality, Helse Sør-Øst RHF, Helse Nord RHF, Sykehuset Telemark HF, Omsorgsbygg, Undervisningsbygg, Forsvarsbygg, Statsbygg, Norsk Eiendom, buildingSMART Norge, Eier- og forvalterforum, Norsk kommunalteknisk forening and Norges miljø-
The needs were mapped in 2019 and a dialogue conference was held on 24 January 2020. Elements from this work are included in the planning and design contest. Emphasis is put on the fact that the planning and design contest is open for everyone. Participation in the dialogue conference is not required in order to participate.
This contest is a planning and design contest. It is also called an idea contest. The contest form enables contracting authorities to get planning or engineering design proposals prepared, including a design and a jury selects one or several winners. This means that a product or service will not be procured from the winners as a direct result of the contest. The idea contest is open for everyone. There are no formal minimum requirements other than the presentation of a tax and VAT certificate.
Solution proposals must be submitted in an anonymous form so that the jury does not recognise solutions and suppliers.
The collaboration partners have together provided NOK 350 000 prize money for the best solution proposals. Up to three solutions will receive a prize. First place will receive NOK 150 000. The two second places will receive NOK 100 000 each. The jury reserves the right to not select winners or second places if we cannot make use of any of the submitted solution proposals.
