The Contracting Authority for the competition is Knutepunk Sørlandet-innkjøp. [Knutepunkt Sørlandet, Purchasing]. The municipalities of Songdalen, Søgne, Vennesla and Kristiansand are included in the competition. (The municipalities of Birkenes and Lillesand are also part of Knutepunkt Sørlandet-innkjøp, but are not included in the competition).

The request relates to the delivery of taxi services to the four named municipalities. The largest users of taxi services is the youth sector (schools/nursery schools) and the health and social sector, but all sectors and entities are relevant users.

The municipalities also have transport agreements with bus companies, and it is basically up to the individual consumer to decide whether they will use a bus or taxi for an assignment.

If the Contracting Authority can themselves meet the need for passenger transport, this will take precedence over purchasing services from external supplier(s).

It is possible to submit tender offers on one or more of the municipalities, and the competition is therefore divided into four sub-deliveries.
