Lot 1 (contract management) of the combined construction, assembly, liability and planning liability insurance for the construction project "Umrichterwerk Delitz" for the client DB Energie GmbH as well as for all companies commissioned by DB Energie GmbH with the planning, monitoring and execution of this construction project.

The subject of the award here is lot 1 (contract management with a management quota of 30%) of the combined construction, assembly, liability and planning liability insurance for the "Delitz converter plant" construction project.

DB Energie GmbH is planning to build a new converter plant in Delitz. A central converter station 110 kV50Hz / 110 kV 16.7 Hz with a capacity of 160 megawatts is to be built in the Delitz area (Halle / Leipzig) to feed traction current. The converter plant is to consist of 4 converter units with a rated continuous active power of 40 megawatts each. In particular, the following components are included in the project: 110 kV switchgear 50 Hz and 16.7 Hz, auxiliary systems, protection, control and secondary technology, converters, structural and civil engineering, steel construction and foundations, telecommunications infrastructure, traction power line connection .

The total investment for this project with a currently planned construction period until August 3, 2023 is estimated at EUR 62.181 million. Of this, around EUR 1.965 million has already been billed through an existing contract. The new insurance contract advertised here will replace the existing one. A currently planned construction time is expected until August 3, 2023. Accordingly, the provisional term of the insurance contract is also planned until August 3, 2023 (plus extended maintenance and additional liability - see below).

The insurance contract begins after the end of the tendering process, probably from June 1, 2023 (later if necessary) following a currently existing advance cover.

(Type H-EU) In liability insurance, the sum insured per claim is a flat rate of EUR 20,000,000 for personal injury, property damage and pecuniary damage, including benefits from environmental liability insurance.

In the planning liability insurance, a separate cover sum per claim of EUR 10,000,000 is available for property and pecuniary damage. The above sums are maximized three times.

Extendend maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance section is 42 months. Additional liability is 10 years in liability insurance and 5 years in environmental liability and environmental damage insurance.

The general deductible is at least EUR 10,000. The deductible does not apply to personal injury.

As part of the extended planning liability insurance, the contractual deductible is EUR 100,000 per claim. The extended planning coverage is included in the planning liability insurance.
