Lewisham Council and Lewisham CCG are seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced providers for Intergrated Advocacy Support services. The tender exercise will be carried out using the Restricted Procedure. For the first stage tenderers are requested to complete the Standard Selection Questionnaire only. These will be evaluated and those tenderers have sufficient experience will be shortlisted and invited to complete full tender documents.

A contract will be awarded for a duration of 3 years for the maximum sum of 474 000 GBP. There will be an option to extend by an additional 2 years at the Council's discretion. If the option to extend is realised the maximum total contract value will be 790 000 GBP.

Lewisham CCG and the London Borough of Lewisham are seeking expressions of interest for the re-commissioning mental health advocacy services. Advocacy support is offered to people (and/or carer) are experience substantial difficulty in:

— Understanding and or retaining information that has been given to them,

— Using this information in making a decision about the mental health treatment and care, and or

— Communicating their wishes views and feelings (whether by talking, using sign language or any other means) about the treatment and care that they are receiving,

The Integrated Advocacy Service that is being commissioned comprises of:

— Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy,

— Independent Mental Health Advocacy,

— Care Act Advocacy,

— General mental health Advocacy.

The commissioning authority would welcome tenders from a single provider or a partnership between providers in delivering this Integrated Advocacy service

The tender will be run using the OJEU restricted procedure with the successful provider being awarded a contract for 3 years, with an option to extend for an additional 2 years.
