The purpose of this design-build contract is the rehabilitation of the Tarentaize II residence in Saint-Étienne (42) which has 126 housing units.

This operation aims to:

- propose a major energy rehabilitation of the heritage;

- demolish part of the buildings: fourteen social housing units as well as the growths on the ground floor;

- requalify the feet of buildings (residentialization) and redefine the public / private domain;

- requalify the entrance halls and their signage;

- requalification of household waste premises.

This ambitious rehabilitation revolves around several objectives for Métropole Habitat Saint-Étienne:

- reduce energy consumption and optimize the level of energy costs sustainably for tenants;

- improve the comfort and quality of life of tenants;

- perpetuate the heritage;

- beautify the premises;

- requalify the surroundings of the buildings.
