Perform the Education Management Information System (SWIS) software updates foreseen in the project “Improvement of monitoring of general, pre-school, pre-primary and other non-formal education in children” (Project No. 09.2.1-ESFA-V-706-01-0001).

The Education Management Information System (EDIS) is used by education managers, education analysts and other education staff at different levels for educational monitoring purposes. However, existing education indicators have long been unreviewed and updated and lack data on student achievement. This makes it difficult for education authorities to make informed, relevant and timely decisions on the current level of student achievement and improvement.

The functionality developed during the ongoing project will allow monitoring the current status of the education system through the use of achievement data, which will allow for the improvement of educational activities at various levels, improving student achievement levels. The data collected will be accessible to school staff, education managers and analysts at all levels.
